Displays
A focal display in the museum is four murals by
local African American artist Al Branch. The murals salute the
various branches of the services, air, land and sea, Camp Shelby and
the USO.
Also on display:
- Spanish American War medals and artifacts
- World War I tombstone and photographs
- World War II medals, equipment and artifacts
- Korean conflict artifacts including a memorial to Ensign Jesse
Leroy Brown (America's first African American Naval Aviator)
- Vietnam War artifacts, medals and memorial
- Desert Storm items and photographs
